What Kinkprint does not ask for

• Your name
• An email address or phone number
• Your exact location
• Any partner’s identity
• Your sexual orientation or gender identity
• An account or password

You can complete the whole survey anonymously. There is nothing to sign up for.

What is stored

While you are taking the survey, your answers stay in your browser tab and are cleared when the tab closes. Your answers are never written to long-term storage on your device — not while you are answering, and not afterwards.

When you finish, two identifiers are saved to this browser so you can come back to your Kinkprint: its share ID and its private ID. That is all — no answers, no index, and nothing describing what you are interested in. They persist until you remove them.

This is worth knowing on a shared or borrowed browser: anyone using it afterwards could open your Kinkprint from the landing page. Your results page has a Forget this on this device button that removes both identifiers without touching your results.

A record is created on the server only when you reach your results. It contains your answers, your self-rating, your Kinkprint Index, and coarse timing information — reachable only through the random, unguessable link to your result. Raw IP addresses are not written to the results database.

Benchmarks are opt-in

Your results are private unless you actively choose to contribute them to anonymous benchmarks. If you keep them private, they are never part of anyone else’s comparison. Free-text notes are never included in benchmarks or in anything shared with a partner.

Kinkprint participant benchmarks are based on people who voluntarily completed this survey. They may not represent the general population.

Your two identifiers

Your share ID is the one in your results link. Anyone who has it can read your Kinkprint — that is what it is for. It grants nothing else: it cannot agree to a comparison, email your results, or delete anything.

Your private ID proves the Kinkprint is yours. It agrees to comparisons on your behalf, emails your results to you, and deletes them. It is never shown unless you ask for it, never appears in a link, and should never be shared. Kinkprint cannot look it up or reset it for you — there is no account and no identity to check against.

Deleting your result

Your results page offers a delete action whenever this device holds your private ID. Deleting removes the stored responses, takes the result out of any future benchmark, and ends every comparison it was part of.

If you clear this browser and have no copy of your private ID, the result stays readable through its share link but can no longer be deleted. Emailing your results to yourself is the way to keep a second copy of the private ID — that message contains it.

Analytics

Kinkprint records first-party product events — that a page was completed, how long a screen took, how many items were skipped — to find out whether the survey is too long or unclear. It does not record your answers alongside them, and it does not use session replay, keystroke capture, advertising identifiers, or cross-site tracking.
